I will be running a 3 day Art Class, to achieve the most benefit I would strongly urge all 3 days should be booked, but have priced for one or two days as well. therefore Please inform me which dates you would like for one or two days.

Morning Session 10am -12am       12am-1pm lunch 

Afternoon Session 1pm-4pm

Day one

Morning Session

Choosing which Skiathos picture you would like to paint.

measuring out a grid on your art board and pencil drawing in.

Block painting in near accurate colours of your painting.

Lunch

Afternoon Session

How to mix the correct colours and how this is applied, e.g. we will discover how to grade the sky from a mid blue to white blue on the Horizon then working left to right how to paint the scenery.

Day two and day three

Throughout these days we will work together on observation how to accurately paint what we See, gradually. building up layers of the painting to achieve an accurate realistic Painting, we. will discover how to paint trees and Rocks, how? to paint the sea with differing colours and waves etc. I will be working with each of you on every element of your painting to ensure at the end of the 3 days you will not only have a beautiful painting of your own to be proud to frame and hang on your wall, but you will also come away with knowledge and new skills to continue on your painting journey with confidence.

If for any reason you have to cancel your course I will offer you a full refund minus a small admin charge of £5 which I have to pay PayPal for the refund process.

Equipment you will need to bring with you

Artists paint board preferably 16 x 12 inches 

Small Easel

Acrylic paint [no oil paint please] good range of colours

Pencils/Ruler

Good range of Paint brushes

Optional Wet palette for Acrylic paint [this will stop your paint drying especially in a hot country

Palette

an old T shirt or cloth just to wipe brushes to clean any spillage etc.

I appreciate if you don't have any equipment you will need to spend a few pounds but if you are inspired to continue your painting journey it will be money well spent.
